A small but growing number of public diversity and inclusion (D&I) funds have an investment philosophy centered on investing in companies with robust and public corporate diversity policies. Performance and key stats for two funds and one index in this coverage set are listed in the table below. The assets under management totaled $45 million as of March 31, 2021. Another index tracks the aggregate performance of U.S. companies receiving the highest scores on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index. That index is to serve as the benchmark for a new fund scheduled to begin trading in second quarter. Coverage of that fund will commence as soon as quarterly performance is made publicly available.
